Press network registration
When you fill in the “Stay in the Loop” form on our News Centre, we collect your first and last name, email address, media outlet, media type and any message you add, together with the country your request came from. We use these details to verify media attendees, to invite you to our events and to send you updates about GCS. Your details are stored by our website host (Cloudflare) and in a Google Sheet used by our team, and a copy is emailed to our press team. We keep them for as long as they are useful for our press relations, and we delete them when you ask us to.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site, for example which pages are read and how people find us. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes information such as the pages you visit, your device and browser, your approximate location and the site that referred you. If you are in Europe or the United Kingdom, we only load Google Analytics after you accept analytics cookies. Everyone can change their choice at any time:
Post views and likes
Our news posts show how many times they have been viewed and liked. To keep these numbers honest, we process your IP address in a hashed form that changes every day, so it cannot be read back. When you like a post, your browser keeps a random ID and the posts you liked in its local storage, so you can undo your like later. No cookies are used for this.
Videos
Videos on our Events page come from YouTube and load only when you press play. They use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode; once a video is playing, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete them, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing pr@globalconnect.show. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
